Clearly a wide open race, but BALLABRIGGS looks a big big price on here at 25/1+.
He's been on the drift for the past 24 hrs, but with so much in his favour it's hard to understand why?
The ground has come right, the Course and the fences hold no fears, he's just 2lb higher than when successful 2 yrs ago, and he's been trained specifically with just this one target all year.
Unlike 12 mths ago, his preparation has gone smoothly this time around, showing noticeable improvement with each run. With that in mind, it's easy to see him reversing form with those that finished ahead of him last year ( Sunnyhillboy - 18lb pull, Seabass - 13lb pull & Cappa Bleu 7lb pull ).
Yes, he's a 12yr old, but so were Amberleigh House and Royal Athlete in recent times, and his stable will have him tuned to the minute for this.
He'll jump, he'll travel, the question is, will he find enough from 2 out? Well, I don't mind paying to find out at his current odds.
Agreed IDKW I've backed Ballabriggs at 29/1 on here, I backed On His Own last year and couldn't leave it unbacked this year, he is my only other bet in the race, good luck.
