Seems a no brainer

the only thing that can get them beat is poor riding.

people say AFC untested on ground, doesnt mean it wont handle better ground. the quality of opposition isnt great either imo

I would had feared Our Vinny, the ground could be an issue but most oscar's go on good and he didnt have a hard race at cheltenham.

i cant find one to beat AFC, who is it scaredmoney ?

Big Road to Riches fan here, Master of the Sea and Gevrey Chambertin could run well too, happy to take on AFC myself at the price, prob b wrong but wont b the 1st or last time Grin

Am taking on AFC with Road To Riches. Fresh having missed Cheltenham and classy, not got to the bottom of him yet.

If you feared Our Vinnie you should definitely fear this one - Our Vinnie scraped home by a short head from Pride Ofthe Parish (admittedly giving 6lbs) whilst Road To Riches beat him easily.

Im hopeful of a much better run from Gevrey Chambertin (let me down for the lot at Cheltenham) and Road to Riches isnt without a chance.....enough issues with the ground to lay AFC for me

I just think AFC is a superstar, not getting the credit he deserves. He basically hacked round for 2&3/4 miles last time out and the 3 runs before have been franked left right and centre.

Gevrey Chambertin is like his brother, wins handicaps and is soft.

RTR is an unknown but i will take the risk that he isnt a superstar.

AFC should be 4/6.

He's not 4/6, he's 6/4, go on then smash it up, master of the sea will go close
be on the go a long time afc, it catch up with him soon, good ground today, emmmm

Surely that applies to MOTS, i would think the ground is more of a concern for MOTS and plus their are form lines through medinas to make you think AFC has him well held.

if it was 4/6 id be selling my Granny!!

3 miles on heavy was too much for medinas at chelt, mots on the up and improving
return to 3 will suit it, yeah grnds a ? mark, but he's only rated 9lbs afc, with more
to come, so 6/4 v 8/1 emm, also remember Curtis saying afc relishes hvy grnd. Not saying
he wont win, but at the prices, I prefer mots.Wink

If the ground is ur only worry, well take no fear!!!!! I believe he will be as good as he has been on softer Plenty of other horses by his sire Oscar, had the same worry over previous years (no form on a quick surface)and didn`t stop them. 6/4 is value. I don`t usually back short-priced Favs but when the value is there why not. His jumping has improved throughout the season which was my worry but not any more. Get On

Hoping there is some Brindisi Breeze deja vu - I know the horses are completely unrelated, but he also got a reputation of people not believing he would be as efficient on quicker ground either. So hopefully AFC will answer those questions today - always dodgy at this time of year though as you've no idea how much they've got left in the tank.

Put him in a win double with Dynaste too - another horse everyone seems even more keen to take on. Over 6/1 the pair to win, might be 7/1 now even.

All the best everyone.
