Gullible Gordon A v well Hcpd horse thats been round here.....ticks a load of boxes including the fact that the trainer targets this race.......running free off 10-1

Minella Forfitness was a bit unlucky when it ran here last year......interfeared with & unlucky not to hit the frame.......often runs with the choke out ...this speed track & big field should help it to cruise along..I feel that this is a propper horse & Im not alone .....someone paid £130,000 for it

130/1 double I feel given luck these must hit the frame

Seems like a lot of people like Gullible Gordon, shirley Bowen won't go home without at least 1 winner at some point.

Was drawn to Minella Forfitness myself, and the other unexposed looking novice Broadway Buffalo - but I just wasn't convinced that their opening handicap marks are that fair. Went for Punjabi myself, 12lb lower with the 7lb now on board, up in trip on some better ground.. 33/1 EW for a former champion hurdle winner - HE CANNAE LOSE Shocked

MF finished like a train to win its 3ml Point as a 4yr old
Doing its best work at the end of 17f
Inproving all the time & I feel (at this trip) its better than its mark Silly

Yeah, he did do well to win over 17f at Donny - definitely think today's trip is more his trip.

Thought Valdez (who finished 3rd to him) was disappointing off 135 in the Imperial Cup though. Cheltenian wasn't too great in the Supreme, but it's hard to measure that effort. Aaim To Prosper came 2nd off 127 at Taunton yesterday didn't he, so that's one positive for his form lines, but then again he looks like he's improved from stepping up in trip to 24f+ from 20f.

Hard to know how fit Minella Forfitness was, could be a lot more to work on. All the best, such a tricky race innit.

2 different tracks........this is a speed track (should help him settle) U can normally pick the winner 2 out here.......U must have the toe to get there..........2 out at Chelt those that have run free down the hill start caving in

Great shout on Minella.
GG ran as well as could be hoped. As I pointed out last night, he has never been placed short of 3 miles and was always likely to get outpaced. If he ever gets decent ground in a Beecher Chase he'll be something to bet on.

Nice to see Mr Buckley and his thai wife amongst the winner, below average for him considering he has so many good horses.
