as good a chance as any other, for sure
|
|
By:
yes decent claims delta certainly cannot knock at the price
stall 2 you'd think bounce out and use it, trip looks a definite plus. you'd hope for a positive ride if so could be a good trade at least! bells looks a winner in waiting over this trip but price no great shakes. |

By:
Agree, stridingedge, though I would rather give Hawsies another chance against that one at the prices. GL, Delta.

too many question marks for me for that runner that Nors The Panic can answer positively
and at a similar price? |
|
By:
I've followed you in there. Good luck

too many question marks for me for that runner that Nors The Panic can answer positively and at a similar price? i dont think it has many question marks, the trip has to be a plus, the trainer is ok for layoff horses (had a look), it acts on the track/surface the question mark to me is do they want to get a few more lbs off its back first before its really stuck in one. gl delta i've left it on this occasion but all the best! |

is this an alston charge in the making? |
|
By:
i thought 6f would suit, was it the newmarket entry that made you question this one delta?
|
|
By:
You can understand/make a case for trying those different distances as -
Given it's Siblings - it could an 'any distance' horse .... or. worse still - the dreaded 'horse without a trip'. (80,000gns vendor Y); 11th foal; half-sister to 8 winners inc 1m GB 2yo/1m1f US Grade 1 3yo winner Singhalese, useful US 1m (inc at 2) winner Kid Edward, Isis Song (6f at 2, 77), Docofthebay (6f-1m, 112) and Baizically (1m1f-1m6f, 94); dam 5f winner (97) |

elise - fto chester tbh

^ But at what trip, though? - Deltâ
Sire = A Miler Dam = 5 Furlong Sprinter. They usually follow one more than the other - or exclusively. When they follow neither - Definitively - then you usually get the dreaded 'one-paced in-betweener' |
|
By:
looked one paced over 5f
looked one paced over 6f (sure has a better break in it than that though!) and was it race ready today ? think it will find a race but you may have given up on it by then ![]() |

Eric is fecking useless these days
|

By:
A somewhat harsh assessment StillLearning, the statistics say that EA's strike rate has been consistent between 7% and 10% for the last 20 years, even when winning Group 1's his % did not waver much either way, more to do with the ammunition he has to go to war with these days than his own ability changing in any way
|
|
By:
Eric will be 70 this year.

Nice fella Cork, mate used to have horse with him, he only has small stable I know, but they all seem to run regularly and it's hard to know when they are fancied, although the money is usually down, impossible stable to follow, better off just leaving alone, although he does tend to get his winners int he first few months of the flat season
|
|
By:
Perhaps wise to leave well alone then StillLearning, you can afford to miss the sporadic winners if they are that hit and miss
|
|
By:
wont have more than 20 winners this season with 250 runners imo
