Let me start by saying i would back Oscar Whisky if Hoss Cartright rode it, but i am so pissed off that McCoy rides on thursday. Dont get me wrong i think he is an absolute legend, and dont think his records will ever be beaten (Robot perhaps) and he will give the horse every chance.
My problem is with Henderson, and the way he has endeavoured to bugger up a fantastic horse in the last 2 seasons, by running him in the wrong races 3 times. Gerraghty has won 13 races on Oscar and would surely be trying to win his third AH if the horse was 100% but he obviously is'nt so he gets on Grandouet. As i posted before i think aswell as his favourite horses (perfectly normal), Henderson also favours owners and arrangements are probably often dictated by this. One other thing, 2 days after Oscar blows out in the WH Henderson pulls out probably his most exciting Bumper horse, which hoses up with the RP reporting "it could be anything" and Henderson giving him as 1 to watch when asked on channel 4. I like a cospiracy so here goes, Henderson and Munier sharing a bottle deciding how to appease Dai Walters when making sure Gerraghty can ride Grandouet, got it says Henderson "i'll save his Bumper horse, until after the WH, that will keep him quiet"
Dai, take him to Noel Meade, he knows a Hurdler and you could fly over.

Henderson is a brilliant trainer, but similarly, you could also argue that it is totally bizarre that the 2012 Champion two mile chaser has not raced over two miles since he won his Queen Mother...

The funniest thing on this thread is the suggestion that Oscar should be sent to Noel Meade.
