Was thinking of shelling out for this but at £299 its a lot to spend. Was hoping for some kind of free trial or money back guarantee but not an option.
Has anyone bought the full PDF package and if so what's the opinion? I did see the free 10 page report and was impressed but it seems I have now missed the boat as James Fitzmaurice has now closed up shop.

You were 'impressed'? Can you not spot backfitting when you see it? eg "If you'd have backed all trainer A's horses at track number 32 over 7 furlongs on Wednesdays when ridden by a jockey whose surname begins with 'S', riding at a weight between 8-6 and 8-10, you'd have made a 24.6% profit on your stake over the last 10 years". Whoopee!!!

You're going to need a lot of help.

In respect of anyone using stats, profiles, pointers or anything that relies on the Cookie cutter method of

finding past profits and expecting future ones, well if you were making real cookies the equivalent

product would be that the cookies sure look cookie shaped but the content is poor and contains no choc chips.

Method failure or poor recipe for success, take your pick.

if the stats indicate a trainer behaviour i think they can be useful, if as pointed out earlier they are showing complex variables (that have no common sense logic) behind them, you can basically back fit any group of data to show profitable lays or backs and these are just the normal variation in distributions of statistics.

half the battle is knowing if a horse (especially in the rank fare which consists of most racing) is off. if you can identify the way a trainer operates from stats that show clear preferences of getting winners, i think this can be useful.

ie some trainers runners you wouldn't touch on their 3rd start qualifying for hcps, others actually have better records 3rd time out.

unfortunately most stats highlighting profitable relationships of variables usually become aware by the market and the prices adjust over time.

ie mick appleby's turf stats for the last 5 seasons show a profit of over £200 to £1 lsp from about 220 odd runners, there's no way this is going to last Laugh

I've kept stats since 1994.
Do I make money?
Sometimes but not regularly
However if I had people paying me for my stats (or tips) then
I WOULD have the stake money to bet on my selections and have a NO LOSE situation. (Or not bet at all and have an income)

Todays best stat concerns a Nmkt stable and 7f maidens with a 3yo colt/gelding in class lower than 4.
Back KOHLAAN to win 5.45

I appreciate all the words of warning but my offer is genuine and still stands to anyone out there who purchased last week and wants to recoup a little bit back. I am at the end of the day a stats nut and even if they sit there gathering dust I still want a copy.
