Its not the clueless the festival brings out, its the t00ls who think that posting something controversial to catch a few in the net is funny. What the thick c unts don't realise is that for something to be funny it has to be original.
If the horse had company it would have found a lot more but she'd no choice but to go for home when she did , nothing wrong with the ride unless you've landed from another forum for the week , if so then why not..knock yourself out.
She couldn't stop the horse idling whilst in front. Some jockeys could. She couldn't. That's usually a sign of weakness. Whilst these are amateurs, could you imagine McCoy letting a horse stop like that?

Winner everywhere bar where it mattered just died the last 50yds nothing she could do inmo and I backed it tho had a saver on the winner.

I think most ( even amateur jockeys) would have given the horse the office on the uphill finish. She didn't have the strength.

There's only one thing that stops a horse idling and that's seeing another horse coming to them. In this case the cheekpieces probably weren't a help because the horse could only react when the winner went past.

I backed Tofino Bay and as aggrieved as I am with my selection getting a flyer at the last and about 6 lengths clear, Nina can't be blamed at all - she gave it a great ride, she never gave up, gave it several cracks but she just didn't have the strength after 4M of someone like McCoy.
The HORSE threw that away!

Mange - there's nothing better than a big priced winner (or a decent bet in) on day ONE, as the pressure's off and you're playing with winnings for the next three days.
Ackertac could've really helped me out (backed it as high as 160) and that little bit of luck makes your balls grow to take a chance on speculative outsiders for the rest of the meeting.
Rooster Booster sorted my entire Festival when he won the getting-out stakes (County Hurdle) many years ago, but that was a thoroughly UNenjoyable meeting for me, despite clearing all the losses, as I was under heavy pressure all the meeting after picking shíte the previous days.
Ackertac affected me that badly, I had blinkers on when studying today's racing last night

, the rider of TOFINO BAY (IRE), placed second, from approaching the second last fence. Having heard her evidence and viewed recordings of the race, they found her in breach of Schedule (B)6 Part 2 in that she had used her whip above the permitted level. The Stewards suspended Miss Carberry for 7 days on dates to be notified to her by the British Horseracing Authority.
