I have just watched the last race at Ludlow. Presumably, when you enter a horse for a hurdle race, you anticipate that it might encounter the occasional obstacle between the start and the finish of the race. With all due respect, I suggest that you might prepare your horse for such an eventuality. I believe that some trainers even "school" their their charges to prepare them. You must be deeply embarrassed and I will not labour the point further. Look on the bright side - you have found an idiot who is paying you £25k + for the benefit of your expertise and professionalism.
