who really is the best value?

Tart has ridden his winners far more quickly then Tate and already looks more the finished article to me.  It looks like he will be this aw season's Darren Egan. Gary Phillips is the other obvious 7lber who looks well above average. Most 7lbers are not worth touching but are there any others to look out for?

I always think if you do spot one that you think is pretty good then it's best to keep it to yourself. Of course it's not long before everyone notices I remember Darren Egan early last season
had just a couple of rides when he first rode over here before hugh taylor started blabbing about him on his column. very annoying

Stevie G, you're probably right, but there's hardly anyone on here any more! Where has that Adam McClean appeared from? He's getting plenty of rides for Shaw and looks OK.
