Backed to lay in running,  watched the race and couldn't believe it wasn't matched at 2.00.  Was there an issue I'm not aware of?

There's no IR high/Low data in the results.

you often find that horses dont trade as low as you would expect on some of the AW tracks for some reason .

also , the winner won by about a head but didn't go below around 1.03 which was also not the norm Confused

think the lowest it went was 2.42,was big prices from the off as well.

Thanks for your reply, do you know where I can find out what it traded at IR? (It's not showing on the results page)

Was there an issue I'm not aware of?  obv you are not aware that oncourse players make a living out of mugs putting in keep bets.

thanks Tom, it drifted significantly before the off which tempted me to back to lay.

Dave, you'll have to explain the on course players making a living from keep bets.

I pretty much exclusively traded throughout 2012 profitably.

At the end of the year I reviewed everything & if I hadn't laid off any bets I would have made 4 x more money. Albeit with huge variance over the short term.

That's pretty much all you need to know about keep in play lay's..
Report duncan idaho February 20, 2013 3:35 PM GMT
my gut instinct would tell me the same, stoozbet...it's good to get your stake back on one that goes low and gets beat every now and again but overall i'm sure its counter-productive
