Just to help you out Koi, 2m4f fast pace (5 front runners) wud suit a 3m stayer. ( A free site on front runners can found) to help you study the form. I dont usually get involved in hunters the odd one. But you wud have picked the winner if u brought the pace angle into this selection. Fair play takin timeout to do what u do. Best of luck.

its odd that so many punters avoid  hunters in the strange belief thety are lotteries when in  fact overall the results are punter friendly with not many weird results. i gues theyve seen some scary performances  in the saddle on horses theyve backed when in reality  the riderr variances is in the punters favour   when you KNOW who  can nd cant ride.

sick get with the programme ,people dont back hunterchases because the front of the market has the life squeezed out of it

1st time poster d you think koi makes n overall loss betting on hunters?if you think so then your negative comments would make sense but even you know thasts not the case.try backing every favourite and see how you get on.

1st time  poster , it probably isnt squeezed out enough. 6/4 chances can(dont have to be ) good value  just as much as long prices  bt its more the case in these events.

Hi Stevie, i do help others before the off (not in a know-all way) but opinion way. I didn`t this time because i dont do hunters really. You must take the PACE angle into every selection u choose in any race.

b BF WAS SAYING A HORSE IN THE SAME RACE WAS GOOD VALUE AT 16/1 it was beaten after 3 fences tailed of after 6  and pulled up soon after ,if they run the race again  t will repeat that performance  , was it value? i wouldnt have backed it personll at 3 times that price.

right,so what you are saying is that even though your granny no,s that the front 3 in the market do extremely well in hunter chases ,our friendly bookmakers who,d sell the sed granny at the right price ,are stood there offering value on the front 3,if you truely believe that continue looking out for thr tooth fairy

i never sai the front 3 were all value , you said that sir. i said in hunter chases  and p2ts in generalsomething  towars the front end of the market wil be  value or the correct price, the rgs are usually  where the %is made up.as a point  2 point  bookie i can ASSURE you that is the case in that sphere, an as you know pt 2 pt is basically the lower level of hunter chases.i have punters that i  dont think will win off of meover the year  , i KNOW THE WILL , they do evey year and they back something at the front emnd of the market as a rule (obviously occassionally they  find a rag with a squeak0 but its suits to lay thei bets  to fit the book.as i said to koi , i laid 4/6 dantes   when it was 4/7  1/2  nd finished 2/5 cos it suited me , if  hant been making  book aid have bet it at4/6 myself.   4/6 was value.whati think  you miss is that punters who go pointing and follow hunters are usually more informed on their sport than other punters.

earlier i the day dantes was over 2/1 when runbery was 7/4 , but there wasnt much money on here, pretty much most respected hunter judges would have been with dantes at that price cos is was value , personally  when it got to 5/4 is was shorter than id have been prepared to back it at  but not  so short id want to lay i,

are they more informed than the bookmakers is the real question
By:

theres not many pointers turn up at ptp,s or hunters and are backed at all rates from 33,s down to 3 to 1,which tells me their grapevine is working fine

than the high st firms   for sure.this doesnt help much as if it had been 9/4in lads  corals etc and id have ashed for 2 3 or 400 at that price id have been lucky bto get 50 quid , so these prices AVAILABLE  are mythcal so  they don catch a cold if and when they  make  price error.

you don need  to be to bright to go thru the form of the rags and and realise which horsres have zero or very little chance in these king of races, but to know the  said merits of the "fancied 2runners you neec a litle more than a quick look at the racing post

no it's ok easygold I can see the pace codes on there. looks easy enough to follow. first race I look at and the horse with highest pace code ended up leading lol. still yes it saves time when looking at pace angles cheers.

same old MO ist time poster, doesnt say a word when the first one wins and wouldnt have been seen if the second had also won but in true forum TROLL style waits for a loser before spouting his drivel and all because a poster gives an opinion on two races.
