Well, just watching Daily Politics show, and quite shocked to hear that every year--in this country ---14,000 horses are legally slaughtered.
That is an incredible number--

Lol--I don't have a clue what to do with the burgers ! , but I think it gives us a good idea of the fate of the majority of racehorses.

I would have thought that 14000 was a modest estimation there must be 100s of thousands

of horses floating about one way or another.

When the dust settles and people realise that it is only 25% of the price of beef or lamb, the public might want it to be legal to openly sell horse meat in this country.

Most racehourses end up that up. They are not suitable for casual riding and are expensive to keep.
