They closed my account some months ago ( I posted details on here) as I had a strike rate of around 80%. Not to major stakes I might add, but just being very selective with my bets. They are without doubt the biggest load of bstds in the betting industry. Every time I see that grinning greasy mug on their ads I feel like smashing the TV! The NR NO BET OFFER is also a scam! They wont credit the money back into your acc so you could withdraw. They just put it back by way of a FREE BET! Thats a joke!

Dreadful. They have no scruples.
|
|
By:
Not sure they can cancel the ante post bets.Surely you enter into a contract when you place the bets ?
|
|
By:
would be surprised if even IBAS could come down in favour of VC if the NRNB was clearly stipulated when you placed the bets

Worest off the lot !!!,,new ips card and new person 4 me to open accounts up, but even i wont bother with vc again , as soon as u win a penny get banned , be lucky if account last a day with them...

Take this to IBAS straight away. I took a case to them recently & won. Read the full story here http://community.betfair.com/horse_racing/go/thread/view/94102/29627739/ive-won-an-ibas-case-against-sportingbet
They took less than a month to find in my favor so if you get in now then they may just get back before Cheltenham. To me it's a very similar situation where the bookie has to honor the contract & can't ban you retrospectively from the antipost offer. |

The last fling..... my father is in the same boat, though he has an e-mail advising him that they will honour the terms.... will have to phone to confirm.

HE HAS THE BARE FACED NERVE TO CALL HIMSELF "THE GENTLEMAN BOOKMAKER" THE GUYS A THIEF. HOWEVER I THINK YOU WOULD WIN A COURT CASE ON THIS ONE, THE BET WAS STRUCK WHEN THE ACCOUNT WAS ACTIVE, THE TERMS SHOW THEY HAVE THE RIGHT TO EXCLUDE PEOPLE FROM PLACING ON THE OFFER, BUT NOT I BELIEVE TO CANCEL AFTER ACCEPTING, NOT REALLY THE ACTIONS OF A GENTLEMAN IS IT !!!!!!!!! THESE PEOPLE ARE SCUM, TAKE THEM TO COURT I KNOW I WOULD

How Victor Chunder has the audacity to show his shrivelled up boat race on the telly is beyond me, ASA should be all over these clowns.

COULDNT AGREE MORE, TINY PRINT ART THE BOTTOM OF THE AD "IF YOU WIN WE WILL SHUT YOU OUT OF YOUR ACCOUNT WITH NO WARNING"....... BIT LIKE THE TINY PRINT SHOWING WONGAS INTEREST RATES, SHOULD BE THE LAW WHEN DEALING WITH SCUM LIKE VC

They tried to turn your cash into a free bet ...you can't be serious ? needless to say if it was me they wouldn't get away with it. |

Her name is Steph, and is probably the most self-absorbed bookies rep I've seen yet, and that takes something. I questioned her about some VC policy on twitter, and she blocked me immediately, but wait for it............ 10 minutes later, she followed me using her personal twitter account ! Ask her about her boob job ! |

I had an account with them for about 6 months. Had a few winners as well as a fair few losers. They then closed my account without telling me, just wouldn't let me log in. When onto their live help and was told my account had been closed due to a trading decision.
I then asked them to send me a report of all the open bets I had left and a statement of my account during it's lifetime. After receiving the reports it turned out I had won just over £1000 in 6 months, so about £160-£170 a month on average. Hardy shouts big winner does it? They honoured the remaining bets I had running and I can't tell you how great it felt when Ernie Els won the Open (£100 EW @ 40/1) and I had to contact them to get them to send the £5200 back. Just typical of a so called big bookmaker only wanting the weak & addicted to play their online casinos and place mug bets, but don't want the business of someone who has a brain... |

Sorry to bear bad news but I think the contemptible viktor shamer can and will get away with it. His ads were carefully worded to say you get a free bet not money back if you back a NR. If you don't have an act any more you can't use your free bet. The other worst culprit in this shady practice is Joke Oral who regularly closes down acts to escape having to credit free bets. Don't touch this pair is the only advice I'd give.

surely its time punters objected to their licences en mass ...lets get them worried , for to long we've took it on the chin ....

VC have the Premier footballers throwing their hard earned cash at them. They have little interest in average Joe who hits the mark. They use the term `commercial decision` for closing accounts. Managers are employed to manage the accounts and make `commercial decisions`...they all live in fear. It`s a ruthless business.
Your Cheltenham specials should be honoured. Would they have any reasons that you opened your new account under a new identity? |

Thelastfling....pm'd you.

I know you are all slagging them off. I doubt doubt any of you.
However one positive surprise for me. When they started the offer I checked terms and conditions. And to my amazement it includes ant post done before the offer was launched. |

Hickster, the offer was a good one (I was always aware that a free bet would be issued rather than cash) and agree that the positives need to be highlighted, in an effort to remain objective. However, the closure of the account, without any means of access, is a little OTT and if they welch on any of the ante post bets placed prior to closure or the concessions that are associated with the offer, they will have to explain their actions and deal with the negative comments/consequences.

Pity you cannot speak directly to the man himself.Just tell him you are a mate of Mick Saunders who is Victors right hand man,and looks after all his finances.

i agree all p i ssed off punters should object to there license see how they like that

Thanks, have replied to your PM, VCbet replied to my email today but totally ignored my issue. |

Guys - I work for the firm, though not in trading.
Anyone who has had an antepost bet at Cheltenham will qualify for NRFB regardless of whether their account is open or closed. An email explaining this will be going out to any affected accounts since the offer started. Hope this clarifies matters. |
|
By:
well i'm outraged by that
|

Agree with most of the above. They truly are a shower of sh1te. Had many accounts closed with them, but accept that's part of their MO. On the plus side, their customer service regarding outstanding bets and balances on closed accounts has usually been pretty efficient. My advice would always be to remain pleasant and calmly make polite requests by email.
VC should be ashamed of his traders, they are hopeless. |

By:
What VC, and the other rancid firms like them, do not seem to realise how easy it is to open another account with them. They even give you a free bet for your trouble. Strange business model ?
You've got to be quick to use it though. Your new account doesn't last long when you back a winner. |

Apologies, you will need to call up the Contact Centre to place your promo cash wager.

Should be banned from trading as a bookmaker.

hemmingway why do your mob close accounts after 1 bet?
|
|
By:
why do people waste their time complaining about it? just get on with it and opening another account.

what sort of returns gets an account closed? as i have opened several accounts recently with various bookies taking advantage of their free bet offers all my selections are for the festival, ive never had accounts other than betfair until recently...
|
|
By:
nothing to do with returns really alleged. could bet 10 losers in a row and get closed if you are consistently getting an edge simple as that.
