As we already have a petition out there to keep the old site I think it only fair to all those that would prefer the new site & would like to see the back of the old one to have the chance to voice their opinion. So here it is a simple signed will suffice if you wish to sign. If this starts to drop of page one a simple TTT will do to bring it back up, I am interested to know if there is a silent majority out there.
what part of the new site are you using bf fananatic? are you having the red and green position and betslip issues?
Don't be silly, no such issues exist. Official.

This is the story of the King's new clothes: Now there was once a king who was absolutely insane about new clothes and one day, two swindlers came to sell him what they said was a magic suit of clothes. Now, they held up this particular garment and they said, "Your Majesty, this is a magic suit." Well, the truth of the matter is, there was no suit there at all. But the swindlers were very smart, and they said, "Your Majesty, to a wise man this is a beautiful raiment but to a fool it is absolutely invisible." Naturally, the King not wanting to appear a fool, said,
"Isn't it grand! Isn't it fine! Look at the cut, the style, the line! The suit of clothes is all together But all together it's all together The most remarkable suit of clothes that I have ever seen. These eyes of mine at once determined The sleeves are velvet, the cape is ermine The hose are blue and the doublet is a lovely shade of green. Somebody send for the Queen."
Well they sent for the Queen and they quickly explained to her about the magic suit of clothes. And naturally, the Queen not wanting to appear a fool, said,
"Well, isn't it oh! Isn't it rich! Look at the charm of every stitch! The suit of clothes is all together But all together it's all together The most remarkable suit of clothes that I have ever seen. These eyes of mine at once determined The sleeves are velvet, the cape is ermine The hose are blue and the doublet is a lovely shade of green. Summon the court to convene."
Well the court convened, and you never saw in your life as many people as were at that court. All the ambassadors, the dukes, the earls, the counts, it was just black with people, and they were all told about the magic suit of clothes. And after they were told they naturally didn't want to appear fools and they said,
"Isn't it ohhh! Isn't it ahhh! Isn't it absolutely wheee(whistle sound)! The suit of clothes is all together But all together it's all together The most remarkable suit of clothes a tailor ever made. Now quickly, put it all together With gloves of leather and hat and feather It's all together the thing to wear in Saturday's parade. Leading the royal brigade."
Now Saturday came and the streets were just lined with thousands, and thousands, and thousands of people, and they all were cheering as the artillery came by, the infantry marched by, the cavalry galloped by. And everybody was cheering like mad, except one little boy. You see, he hadn't heard about the magic suit and didn't know what he was supposed to see. Well, as the King came by the little boy looked and, horrified, said,
"Look at the King! Look at the the King! Look at the King, the King, the King! The King is in the all together But all together the all together He's all together as naked as the day that he was born. The King is in the all together But all together the all together It's all together the very least the King has ever worn."
All the courts positioned to call an intermission His majesty is wide open to ridicule and scorn
The King is in the all together But all together the all together He's all together as naked as the day that he was born. And it's all together too chilly a morn!

The whole purpose of the new site is to increase hopefully the number of new customers that will use Betfair instead of using lesser betting operators who have very unfair odds, tacky, messy and useless websites and cater only for the gambler that bets first and thinks later.
And to that end betfair hasn't dont too bad since it started and much to the contrary of the beliefs of the disgruntled few posters on the forum it will continue to do well in the future.
If betfair had kept the old format for another ten years how many would moan and say "why havent betfair improved the website"
proving you cant please all the people all the time...

"evolve" is usually used as a word for "Improve" or "grow" or "better"

I think the Pumphol's point has clearly been made...ONE in favour after THREE days and it's very apparent he's got an agenda with that moniker!
It's obvious BF Fanatic's far from well-endowed in the intelligence department as well, because he referred to the several hundred signings on the petition FOR the old site as just a tiny fraction of the total number of people with Betfair accounts - just how are you gonna explain this shambles then B/F Fan?
You're insulting us when you repeatedly state that a 'few disgruntled' punters/posters are unhappy with whatever aspect of Betfair's service you always seem to be defending.
We all know it's a fabulous concept (though the novelty's wearing thin nowadays) but so many aspects of Betfair have been degenerating for years. Also, any objections raised are routinely ignored as we're treated with contempt.
I don't see what's wrong with CHOICE...I'd assume nobody objects to that. Has there been a statement from Betfair explaining the reasons for forcing this non-negotiable piece of shíte on us?

The key word here is 'improved', and it seems fairly obvious comparing the 2 opposing 'petitions' threads that there are hardly any improvements but many regressions, and serious ones at that.

Sent an email yesterday through Site Feedback saying I daren't bet on the new site while the duplicate bets problem continues. Also pointed out that there were over 300 signatures to keep the old site and 1 to keep the new.
Haven't heard back yet....

The only logical point in keeping the old site is on the basis that if we box up its fans and keep them in the attic for a few decades they might be worth a few bob at auction.

At least there'd be about 400 of us (so far), so at least we'd have some company. Seems like if we boxed up fans of the new site in the attic, Bf fananatic, there'd just be you, all alone.

The term " a lone voice " has never been more appropriate.
I have nothing against someone having a different opinion, what I find strange is the attitude fananatic has to the many as though you speak for hundreds if not thousands of users & everyone else is but an insignificant minority

Sorry pumpy my post was not in any way meant to be an endorsement of the new site. Can't stand the thing. I was merely having a little dig at the fanatic. Sorry for any confusion.

Smiley Jack, I think the point's been more than proven. If this result isn't a landslide I don't know what is! Have you sent the results to the CEO as you proposed?
