Is betfair SP near to “perfect”?

Is betfair SP near to “perfect” i.e 2.00 chance will actually win close to 50%? Or as I can see it this way market is correct and wrong for instance 50/50, so sometimes true probability 55% other – 45% which gives on average 50%. My point of view shows that the market is mostly wrong.
