They only had one pundit in last week and have none in according to the schedule this week.
Sadly the best radio servoice has now become the worst.
Betfair should step in and contribute towards the pundit's fee.

Love the station but this sole presenter style really dilutes the product.Less GC a bonus but can't be easy talking to self for hours on end.The gravy on this train is now a bit thin. Can't believe BF cannot afford to keep this the best radio station

Betfair own Timeform and thus have always paid the pundit's fee.

Using lame-arsed excuses like cost-cutting/streamlining for sheer greed...utterly disgusting! Is someone gonna tell me Betfair are really struggling and can't afford a few hundred quid a day for some resident pundit?
Yet another small pleasure in my life that's gone - ain't life in this century just shíte?

On Betfair Radio the pundits seem to call a spade a spade and don't fanny around with all the apologist stuff as they all do on TV - I got bored with Hill's pundits doing their Boyce impressions!

As part of a wider ongoing content review, we have reluctantly taken some cost-cutting measures. As of December, we will be experimenting with coverage of evening racing being provided on a commentary-only basis, whilst we will no longer have an analyst in the studio for every day's racing. We have identified certain days throughout the month where the service can be significantly enhanced by the presence of an analyst, and will aim to fill that role on as many of those days as we can. In the event of all UK meetings being cancelled, Timeform Radio will not broadcast live online. On such days, commentaries for any meetings that take place in Ireland can be heard via our telephone service. To listen, dial 08720 101 101 and select option 2 (dial 1520 131 101 from ROI).
Evening Tiger Tiger, dont post much these days. Good to see the toon thread still going strong though.

Given the reluctance to pay a fee for a "pundit of note", perhaps the names of the Betfair Forum self proclaimed experts and rating analysts should be placed in a hat and drawn out one by one to go on air and guest/cover the low grade days.
No fee payment obviously, but surely travel and subsistence could be afforded, with a poll from the rest of the forumites to select a best pundit of the week/month, with a donation from Betfair to the elected winners preferred charity.
It would be interesting to see how each person performed "on air" and in finding winning selections.

prefer the radio to the tv you can have it on in the background and turn it up for the races that interest you without having to watch every race on tv flicking channels

Tiger Tiger, think it would sort out those who have faith in their own ability and those that just have big ego's and forever fail to provide any evidence of why said ego is so large.
Would be interesting to find out how many and whom would be up for the challenge, will start a thread to find out.
