They would open 24/7 if allowed in order to screw poor unfortunates addicted to their FOBT's.

Reb - Depends which firms you talking about, if you do a shop locater most will list the opening times on shop by shop basis for you

Had a look via the Locator at about 30 shops and it seems to me that most are open at, or before, 9am and don't close until post 9.30pm. I'm shocked. How times have changed since I left London. It really shows the growth of the non-traditional (horse-racing, dogs, sports) gambling market. I detest those Fixed Odds Betting Terminals - the crack-cocaine of gambling.

ye - if they think that somebody will walk past at 8am and stick a tenner in one of their machines they will be open...... most are forever tinkering with the opening times

All the Corals I know are open at 8:30am.  Some Ladbrokes & Paddy Power open at 8:00am in the city centre.

there's a betfred and a corals next door to each other where i live.
when corals opened at 8.30 the betfred followed suit.
betfred and corals both close at 23.00 but the manager of betfed says their licence allows them to stay open till 24.00 if they wish.
