ruby robbes the punters again and not a question asked a disgrace
Notice the difference in rides when Ruby rides in Ireland, and when he rides for Nicholls.
seems to be happening a lot lately in ireland 1/7 beaten and 2/9 also, not just beaten but beaten a long way.
It's easy when you're 40 lengths off the pace and something else has got an easy lead.
Couldnt understand the price offered in running for Clara Bel even when it went into second it was being offered at 55 then a few hundred yardss later it is out of the race.
Poor ride but looking at the way the fav traveled and jumped in the straight the best horse won on the day imho.
Hopefully see a better ride on TARLA.....from the front.
nothing wrong with the ride........ not good enough what you want him to do lift the horse past the winner ......
Audil it all depends upon whether the horse in front was leading at a good pace or letting go clear at his own pace. I doubt the winner is that much better than the 2nd home but only time will tell. Often after this kind of result when the 2nd runs next time the connections suggest they let the winner get away. They won't say that today but wait and see what they say next time.
Brigust that lot dont ever say very much either before or after anything.
Seemed to me he was even further behind at the finish than he was 3 out.
It's a miles better horse than the winner - even if it wasn't in form it was never given a chance to show it's form. And audi obviously knows nothing about much.
Thanks Koi, I was about to say that. The last thing he wanted was to beat him up to finish closer. Would have looked even worse. The horse might end up being useless from now on though.
