Thought it looked like there was something wrong with the horse. I'm sure the explanation will be he heard noises coming from the horse and something was up. Looked like he was going to pull it up at one point.

No BB but have seen him riding pointers in the SE for a few years i know that hes pretty much incapable of giving one a push and shove, shame on the trainer for putting him up on the stable star.

Report xylophone November 13, 2012 2:21 PM GMT
Before you go any further to get your licence you have got to pass certain criteria ................. do you honestly think that ride would pass anything?

If that ride had been given by a Barney trained horse they would have received the maximum possible ban.
The "Old School" clearly still rules.
Report flyingbolt November 13, 2012 9:31 PM GMT
That right,racingstar ?

When was Barney last banned iyo ?Mischief
Report racingstar November 13, 2012 9:51 PM GMT
When did one of  Barney's receive a ride like that,Flyingbolt?
In answer to your question,I believe it was when Bradley taped a conversation with Barney about his ride On Robin Goodfellow and "grassed" him to the Jockey Club.
Ban overturned after Barney threatened legal action.
Report flyingbolt November 13, 2012 9:57 PM GMT
If memory serves it was Barney who complained to the Jockey Club about Bradley's ride on Robin Goodfellow.
Barney was nothing to do with the horse(trained by Toby Balding)....he'd backed it.Mischief

We are going over old ground here.
Barney backed it and the price kept going bigger (most unusual).
Bradley ran it into most hurdles and got the job done for whoever was Laying it.
The rest was how I told it.

suprised he got the horse pulled up after the line, went for a gap he knew he wasnt gonna get threw and then coming to the line switched the horse to the outside when he knew it was too late. horse had the pace to lead from the front in his bumper win but today dunsdon made sure he was well back. will be interestin to see him nto.
Report Money On7 November 13, 2012 11:34 PM GMT
if he doesnt win next time out i bet he'll be alot more handy when the handicap mark arrives but handicapper shud react and give him 130 to slap it up them. was really taken by this horse in his bumper win last year but i detest incapable jockeys riding there daddys horses and not giving the horse a chance to reach its full potential. He done the same with Joly Bey came swinging numerous times and hadnt the minerals to finish the job. JP Magnier is candidate numero 2, amount of class bumper horses he rid and messed up on through lack of jockeyship. barry connell gets alot of stick but at least he had the decency to step aside when they went hurdling. JP on Rhinestone was a joke. horse finished in the coral cup still on the bridle ffs.
