Storm, I dont think the reasoning by the OP as to why it wouldnt win were valid....actually stupid for want of a better word...

Andrew it just depends on what you give ground to. The winner was the 2nd best weighted horse in the race. Never won over further than this trip and finished 10 lengths behind VLV giving 7lbs last time they met. The jock must have known at these weights over this trip not to let him go.

Yes Brigust, i've pointed out on another thread i thought AEL was over confident at least. I backed VLV but Flemenstar and Far Away So Close have reduced the losses
