Well i've got £800 on that says differently. Runs well fresh and is much classier than the rest.

It will be a major shock if its beaten....nothing in the race of its calibre now....

She should win this even if only half fit, the race that Mossley won is the next best form on offer and that falls a long way short of anything VLV has run to, even if they try to run it slowly the heavy ground should ensure it is still enough of a test of stamina for her finishing burst to prove decisive
Report .Fidway. November 11, 2012 1:45 PM GMT
Does VLV know there have been 2 odds on winners already.
Report ZEALOT November 11, 2012 1:47 PM GMT

Spot on m8.  When they are that short.... Long way off a slow pace against a race fit rival.  Stinks that they would tarnish the reputation of the horse, but there you go.

A perfect example as to why with regards to hoarse racing in general ITCANTBEDONE and with regard to Irish racing in particular they don't only like to eat, but to have a magnificent banquet!

I hope this clarifies the matter!

Storm, I dont think the reasoning by the OP as to why it wouldnt win were valid....actually stupid for want of a better word...

but it was beat & thats all that counts if he laid it.

Specially when it's soft / heavy but I still thought she would win 2 out.

Report brigust1 November 11, 2012 3:15 PM GMT
Andrew it just depends on what you give ground to. The winner was the 2nd best weighted horse in the race. Never won over further than this trip and finished 10 lengths behind VLV giving 7lbs last time they met. The jock must have known at these weights over this trip not to let him go.
Report Andrew in Sweden November 11, 2012 3:38 PM GMT
Yes Brigust, i've pointed out on another thread i thought AEL was over confident at least. I backed VLV but Flemenstar and Far Away So Close have reduced the losses Grin
Report brigust1 November 11, 2012 4:11 PM GMT
Same here Andrew. Only difference I laid Spurs after they scored.
