Not his fault- the horse was pulling his arms out all the way round expending energy all the time!

I hope this clarifies the matter!
Report Principino November 10, 2012 12:42 PM GMT

you blame the jockey for the antics of a recalcitrant and green horse who was priced at a stupid price?
Report Footiefan111 November 10, 2012 12:43 PM GMT
the horse was green but he never got it to focus
Report Glossy November 10, 2012 12:44 PM GMT
Never read such drivel.

It amazes me, the amount of jocks that persevere  on strangling horses instead of letting them get on with it...
they may settle better from the front...

trying to be clever by winning easily cost him, you see the winner kings lad was getting the hurry up why before the Mr mole incident

pocket talkers horse is a dog
Report ph. November 10, 2012 12:46 PM GMT
should have strode own, horse was retractable and sulked once fed up with having his back teeth prised out. May one day make the horse a racehorse but didn't help todays backers. The smartarses who know best wouldn't bet 2/5 anyway so they will be all knowing and understanding regarding AP's efforts.
Report differentdrum November 10, 2012 12:47 PM GMT
This was his third race. The jockey is paid to get the horse to settle. Far too often AP struggles to get them jumping/and or settled and hence another disaster for those who follow him over the cliff in novice races.
Report welshrock November 10, 2012 12:47 PM GMT
bet an odds on at your peril - more money to be made in them losing  . I feel rather pathetic for backing him - not mccoys fault only ours !! simple
Report bannahan November 10, 2012 12:48 PM GMT
Yeah, he should of gave the horse a pep talk pre race.....Cry
Report soba November 10, 2012 12:48 PM GMT
Why was the horse so short Shocked
Report koikeeper November 10, 2012 12:49 PM GMT
Hard to say the horse is a dog...was 2-2 before today....didnt jump at all well, high head carraige, pulled & ran green...

A different horse next time I think.
Report Nonaynever November 10, 2012 12:58 PM GMT
".... jockey is paid to get the horse to settle...." I'll have an even tenner on the half ton horse over the 8st jockey please.

Footiefan

Do you blame the jockey every time you lose or are there even more losers you back that we don't hear about ?
Report flyingbolt November 10, 2012 1:00 PM GMT
Nonaynever

Don't think AP has been 8st since he was about 11.

Report Nonaynever November 10, 2012 1:02 PM GMT
