I know a guy who is making big profits by having 1.02 bet on in all races he is using a sliding scale stake he has been doing it for about a year now and tells me he has never had it so good. |

Mr Eck- I believe your friend. However weather it is possible or not, this method is not for me. I would think it would be necessary to have a decent computer and advanced software to get on at that price and that price only. My clockwork Sinclair Spectrum run by a well fad rat running in a wheel to turn the clockwork mechanism is not really up to it!

i would imagine the bets were struck when horse was in mid-air and appeared to have taken it cleanly...if they wait for a few strides after the fence, the money's all gone |

Odds that the leader falls before taking the last fence in a race over chase courses...? Sure some have done the stats on that, but of course differs due to horses too..

From my observations when a horse is clear it's on average 1.03 to jump the last fence and 1.01 to jump the last hurdle.
Not for me though apart fropm hedge facility. |

I guess it's just one way to try and make the game pay,but they are not punters are they,just money buyers.
Apart from having the balls to lump on for small returns hoping for no fallers on every race,there is no skill involved at all |

To make it pay in ANY WAY on hear means that skill is involved. One can be lucky for just so long! I hope this clarifies the matter! |

If you laid the field at 1.01 in every race you would be well in profit.Unfortunately unless you work for betfair you wont get matched on all the losers

wee heck, trouble is I have studied this for a while now and it doesn't pay.
I have studied the last 5300 races and 1.02 has only come up 30 times (should obviously be nearer 50) 1.01 has come up 69 times so you could argue that 69 + 30 is 99 at 1.02 but out of 5300 races the 1.02's need to be over 106 to make any profit, and that's if they are all matched of course. 1.01's are showing a nice profit of 69 times out of the 5300 races, but It is nigh impossible to get them all matched. Current matching rate for myself is only 40%, so roughly 27 matched at 1.01 is obviously losing money. Safe to say I don't think the 1.01 or 1.02 techniques can win unless you can be first in the matching queue, and I don't know how you can get in before whoever it is? |

andy For sure those at the track have tried to make it pay at home,failed,tried to make it pay in a shop,failed,hence now at the track.
If you can make it pay in the comfort of your own home why would anybody have all the aggro of going up and down the country |

not true TRD i won decent in shop for 6 yrs before i came to track the better shop players now predominantly at track now why the game is hard

and it all depends how much u want to win to win the big nos it's hard in the shop now to do that as the liquidity is much worse than a few years ago and getting the "right prices" is hard if you're playing behind

yes howard most tracks got track players in a few boxes very few dont....the edge on turf is less than a second but the liquidity is greater ....

why should betting in running be any different theres always some better or better equipped or better organised than others me i would be just too slow and fat fingered to even consider trying it |
