lol TGIB.....was nowhere near as good as you but could string 30-40 breaks ....played jim meadowcroft as a teenager in a pontins comp in wales pwlelli??? (can't spell) he was the resident pro there...the fsc trademark was to smash the reds up by bouncing off the side and back cushions leave them all on figuring noone could hit a big break...i potted 5 reds 4 blacks and had an easyish black.....but to get good position i took eye off pot and it rattled in jaws...he cleared up i swear to god i'd habe come close to doing the same...ahh well he was a good player and was right on the downgrade at the time...the difference netween pro and semi pro is massive as is semi pro to good club player

andy i played meadowcroft at worthing where he was based for a while ....i got 14 start first to 9 for 2k ,,,,,,,i won 9/3 ,,,,,i used to practise with wattana and ebdon ,,,,,,,,,,,but always used to get beat in quarters or semis .......ebdon beat me 10/3 and doherty 10/2 in 2 qualifiers i turned it in that week little was i to know that they would both be world champions 1 day .......
