This one would have been lost on the majority of those present but whilst commentating on a hurdle race at Newbury and referring to a horse named 'The Teuchter' Mike Cattermole said 'whatever that means'.Self-deprecating humour,given that being born in Elgin he would be considered to be one.Grin

Barry Davies during a Holland World Cup game, taking about the goalkeeper before kick-off - "He's a great shot stopper and the proud owner of 56 Dutch Caps".

In the second half, this changed to "played 56 times for Holland".
