We at Betfair have voided all bets to make things fair

THEY are a disgrace i played the race fairly

The bet's are timed, surely even they can sort that out.

the official post race off time betfair have been given is incorrect as i placed my first bet as half a billion left the stalls ,....it has been settled as a pre race bet.....

If they get away with this, they'll be sleeping with our wives soon and claimed it's fair.

You may joke but i do believe the betfair bigwigs were at one time looking into the legalities surrounding their intention to claim prima nocta  on all new male clients when they opened up an account

My methods involve placing a back bet pre-race then trading in-running. I lost my entire stake as even though my in-running lay was matched, this part was voided!

Customer services said that its OK for them to quote 'technical glitch' as its part of the terms and conditions. A lot of people trade like this for a living so this seems a very worrying view to take from a customer relations aspect.

Betfair need to explain in more detail the 'technical glitch' and provide assurances that they have installed measures to prevent or reduce the chances of this happening again. I would also recommend publishing the quantity and frequency of these site breakdowns and glitches so the Betfair customers can factor in the odds of this happening in the betting/trading activities.

'technical glitch' - utter drivel, all markets are manually controlled, human 'error' not a glitch.

I was drip feeding pre-race back bets through a bot and have had over 200 bets voided. This isn't surprising as the bot never received the suspend signal at the off. What is surprising though is that a) I never noticed any new unmatched bets appear in the My Bets window during the race (I was watching on live video with the video window next to the colours covering the ir betting) and, at the end of the race, the P/L column on the winner was showing £2,400 odd (it should have been showing just over £700 because of the losing ir bets it placed).
