Michael Sobell's colours were white (Troy) & Simon Weinstock's (Pilsudski) looked very similar but were light blue.
I didn't know the bloke (Simon) had died and subsequently that BOTH of the above had connections to Ballymacoll Stud. So when were Sobell's original colours last seen on a racecourse?
PS - check this out...http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/King_George_VI_and_Queen_Elizabeth_Stakes 1979 & 1980 winners - I was aware he had Ela Mana Mou, but I never knew Weinstock had a share in Troy

I always thought they owned horses together...Weinstock and Sobell..?
Prince of Dance was a lovely animal imo, would have been exceptional over middle distances with his breeding (Sadlers Wells - Sun Princess). Just a pity he died before he had a chance to show it - I believe he was found to have cancer in his back after the Derby when he trailed in behind Nashwan. Still think he could have been a contender to his stablemate...
