I thought it was the all white colours, isn't Weinstock the Pilsudski colours?

they are actually very pale blue with a yellow cap but they do look whitish

nope, different colours but there is a connection of sorts,

Sir Michael Sobell owned Prince of Dance but it was bred by Ballymacoll stud which owned Pilsudski

Michael Sobell's colours were white (Troy) & Simon Weinstock's (Pilsudski) looked very similar but were light blue.

I didn't know the bloke (Simon) had died and subsequently that BOTH of the above had connections to Ballymacoll Stud.
So when were Sobell's original colours last seen on a racecourse?

Prince of Dance was a lovely animal imo, would have been exceptional over middle distances with his breeding (Sadlers Wells - Sun Princess). Just a pity he died before he had a chance to show it - I believe he was found to have cancer in his back after the Derby when he trailed in behind Nashwan. Still think he could have been a contender to his stablemate...

Sir Michael Sobell was Arnold Weinstock's father in law. Hope this helps
