That's the clean-sheet hat-trick. Nicely done by both of us, doncha think? The bottom line even edges over the £20 mark. Let's hope we don't besmirch that.

I'll take the honours today, having sussed that Swaledale Lad  would dilly dale on the way home at 4.51.   Actually looked like a bit of a last-minute gamble on that one - can't think why.   Anyway, well done us and may we enjoy similar luck on the morrow!

Well done reg;sort of fitting you should win the 99th race.You're obviously in form having been runner up a couple of races ago.Excellent from custer who went down with all guns blazing;that second star ain't far away.

I was tempted to comment last night that maybe a poster who shall remain nameless (but is rather flowery, specially for a bloke! ) had put the kiss of death on us by suggesting we might make 20+. And so it transpired as, sadly, general custer was outwitted by a nag that, on paper, looked a good choice, so much so that, as I say, if he hadn't picked it first I would have gone for it. C'est la vie in the laying world.

Anyway very hard luck general on crashing at the 16th after putting in such a superb performance. We didn't quite manage to keep the bottom line over £20 but it's still pretty respectable. And it's not often we get to the 16th fence, let alone number 20. But at least the general leaves with a shiny silver medal and a very healthy profit of nearly £11.   And again, well done to posy on the bronze after another sterling performance.

And thanks to everyone who took part in the 99th race. Goodness, it's 100 next!

So I'm gonna give mysekf alittle timem to think about number 100. Should it be special in some way? Any ideas folks?

Not been in the last few races, but looked in  and exceptional laying going on with the longest race for a fair time.  Congrats Reg on your fourth gold and great stuff from the General in pushing so hard.  Good stuff from Posy with Bronze and actually to Rob for getting 4th (again). Worst position but hope your forthcoming little op goes well mate.    Pete

What about reducing the maximum lay price from 7 to say 5 for the 100th race.Massive achievement for anyone to get over 10 fences.

Could try an all gold winners,but we would still be stuck with Skinto

For the 100 comp how about raising the limit to 20.00.  Maybe then we could get a 50 day comp.

The guy who actually started this comp set the bar at 10.0.
Much better IMO

A lot of work in this Busvaldo---Reged deserves a break before the 100th edition
