That is one point and agree for the average joe would be difficult. but some of the other points just utter nonsense. You could always get on if it meant that much to you and it was worth your while, e.g. people ready to bet in shops, lots of accounts etc but would have to be worth the effort.

Christ they are coming out of the woodwork tonight...
What part of the following do you not understand 3DUCK... THE PRICES HAVE GONE BEFORE THEY ARE POSTED.... |
|

i think you must have a slow internet connection, homefortea. cheers

Stick your toys back in the pram and get your facts straight first. I and a friend tested a number of his selections over last three months (long story but having similar argument with a friend about whether you can make money following his selections - incidentally I was saying you couldn't get the prices). My test showed you can get on average 80 to 85% of the price on the vast majority, so not sure what your shouting is based on. Before you moan I would agree the bookies online etc will lay for peanuts if at all etc etc but the prices have not gone before gone online not if your quick.

No wonder I stay "in the wood work" as your put it when you encounter such spouting as read on this thread.

By:
dont worry about homefortea, 3DUCKEGGS....he just repeats the same non-argument ad nauseum to wind people up...everyone knows he doesnt deal in facts
|
|
By:
If the bookies had any sense they would lay as much as they want on his selections, they would be making an absolute fortune :)
|
|
By:
in the last month they would, yes....prior to that they would have made a VERY heavy loss

"poor Hugh will be kicking himself for not putting up that 14/1 beauty as a selection"

Hugh's selection today 33/1>12/1....seems like the bookies still not keen to lay this 'complete mug guesser's' tips

Duncan..You got the 33/1 yeah......
There is only room for one Lazurus on this forum.... |

I wonder how much money the so called bookmakers actually took at 33/1? Or have they just cut the price without laying it at all as soon as Hugh's selection appears.
They are then prepared to lay it at 20/1 or less to those who follow Hugh blindly as they know he makes a loss at SP. |

If you could read properly you would have noticed I started this test well before his bad run and made it clear had no intention of backing them. Go and lay something else for 3/4 of your bank. I'm awaiting your column to start where you'll never have 3 consecutive losers.. |

Duncan----------don't worry about your hero--------------------------------------------- his "detailed statistical analysis", as he quotes in today's tip page, will always stand him in good stead (not)!
In truth, I admire his diligence in what he personally believes to determine the outcome of races, (but I and many others know different in most cases ). Seriously though, I wish him well in life, and with this very obscure tip, -- if it wins-----respect is surely due from all of us cynics. |

my ATR tracker has fairly regular winners and I don't study that much just note a couple a day,his strike rate perplexes me.

I did not back Monzino, but good for Hugh. Long overdue and maybe these kind of threads will go away. The man is an excellent tipster, period!

Well done Hugh, you didn't deserve the abuse.Kick on.

By:
Was bound to happen after some of the over the top criticism on this thread. Can't get on - yes can get that, but long losing runs to be expected at some point based on the prices he works on.

There must be someone out there whos stuck by Hugh's selections but missed out today. The selection went up v early this morning and lasted about 1 minute.
|
|
By:
Lasted 0 minutes...
Who got the 33/1... I never doubted his prowess but the price was once again unavailable.16/1 at best and especially when it was put up so early.... Still all you lads must have filled up in running - what price did it go to ? |
