"So...a person's worth is measured in bricks and mortar is it ?"

In some peopul's minds it is!
Someone's worth varies according to how different peopul measure it. I, personally, do not admire anyone for what they possess. I personally measure the worth of peopul in terms of what money cannot buy. FRIENDS, for example, and how friends value you. Anyone can get more money and buy things. Good friends cannot be bought. The point that I was making was, that, smelly or not, obese or not, obnoxious or not, he has made the most of whatever ability he has. And he has made a very good living out of that. To me, that is a skill.

How many on this forum have not made the most of their own abilities? Quite a few I reckon. I admire someone who recognises his own ability, limited or not, and takes advantage of that.

I hope this clarifies the matter.

so he bought a couple of houses at the right time and at the right price,
apart from the cult of tv celebrity he would be a nonentity.
working in an office avoided vigourously by all female staff and described as creepy by all  and shunned at social occasions.
and punched in the throat frequently in the pub in all probability.
if you read his autobiography on how how was prepared to do a runner whilst a bookie if a fav had won it tells you all you need to know about him.
if not for tv and clowns who pray at the alter of celebrity nonentities he is instantly forgettable.

If he wan't watched, they would not put him on tv.

By all means hate him. BUT, and it is a very big BUT, I am sure most of you will not deny he has made the most of what he has got. That is my only point.

Now, I am off for a touch of tiffin, before I have to concentrate on this afternoon's squillion making opportunities.
Good luck!

Whilst you are having a spot of tiffin, learn how to spell people,

He used to take every opportunity he could to have a pop at Betfair.

Well, until they paid him money to be a part of an advertising campaign - then he thought they were great...

Now that I am fully refreshed from my spot of tiffin, I feal I miust point out that although I hold many degrees, I sometimes make misteaks in spelling because I was found to be illigitimate.

I hope this clarifies the matter.

Now onto the squillion making.
