while he's not my cup of tea , he still has to make a buck. and since channel 4 cut his appearances right down in favour of the more modern presenters who just go with the flow he has to look else where cant fault him

I don't dis-like the bloke at all, he's eccentric, totally bonkers,
right out of his tree and playing with half a deck, entertainment value.
Apart from that, can't fault him.

Someone's worth varies according to how different peopul measure it. I, personally, do not admire anyone for what they possess. I personally measure the worth of peopul in terms of what money cannot buy. FRIENDS, for example, and how friends value you. Anyone can get more money and buy things. Good friends cannot be bought. The point that I was making was, that, smelly or not, obese or not, obnoxious or not, he has made the most of whatever ability he has. And he has made a very good living out of that. To me, that is a skill.
How many on this forum have not made the most of their own abilities? Quite a few I reckon. I admire someone who recognises his own ability, limited or not, and takes advantage of that.
