that was not an off day though.

imo they over hyped her even though form lines through midas touch said she was not as good as people thought.

she moved fine through the race and even without easing down last 50 she woulnd not have won by more than a length.

on the other hand had society rock started normally she wouldnt have won.

There you go on again G1, selectively looking at form.

You use Midas Touch in a race in which she jogged.

Yet you ignore soul from today.

Are you just been purposely biased or do you always lose on the punt?

You don't think her jockey had an off day? Even he said did. He should have ridden her more conservatively and when they went for home it should have been decisive.
And about Society Rock, Moonlight Cloud absolutely mullered him last season so the 'bookies love horses with excuses' thing may be true.

Somerset I didn't know this was a Listen to Somerset Moan forum. It thought everything was open for debate. You ask me a question I will answer. I won't say what you want to hear necessarilly but I will say what I think. And I don't have to ask your permission to do that. OK.

Forget it - you have a script and want to read it, irrespective of what you see/hear or anyone else says...

I'm glad she won.

I'll give her the benefit of the doubt

I hope YOU'd be as gracious if TQ fxxks up and Frankel only wins by half a length in a foreign race some time

Here's a thread for you

You have a strange way SM.  I wanted her to win. I backed her ages ago. I think she is better than that and I think the jockey rode a poor race. I also think the form isn't as bad as it looks. I'm a fan. And I don't need to watch the races you suggest or read the articles you want me to read.
I very, very seldom criticise jockeys and I know they are only human.

Whether you like it or not the only thing we have in black and white is form. And you would be surprised how often form works out. I like form. Warts and all.

The jockey wasnt at fault for winning........had he pushed her out it still would not equal a GP one sprinter. He picked up his whip with 1 and a bit to go.........against shyte........................but obviously better shyte than they have down there.

Check all her clocks..........Frankel would have passed her after 100m and kept on going..............even at 5f.LaughLaughLaughWink

Has anyone ever noticed how easy it is for the good Australian horses to race at 5-7f,,7f -14fLaugh and still be dominant? why?

because of the lack of quality in depth, their horses go up and down in distance quite dramatically with ease. There is no competition for their top animals at home.

there would have been no competition at Ascot either if those French horses weren't their, wasn't an english horse in the first 4 Laugh
