by my reckoning, both 2nd fav and outsider show a profit @ bfsp in all 3-runner races since start 2015 (period picked at random)

probably + £1000+ when Vaughan Williams have first and second fav in the race.

You have to play around I guess. You can't have a flat strategy for every 3 runner race. I'd take out races where the 3rd in the market is < 4.00 BSP

The 18.10 at Chelmsford tonight will be an interesting test of the "outsider of three" system.

At the moment , the Johnston horse is the outsider, and is deffo the one I would back if I were having a bet.

Doesn't work blindly but I often back the outsider of 3 because one of the top 2 favs is either a useless drifter or overbacked steamer.

Am I right in thinking there is no profit if you back the outsider of three or the fav of three or the middle of three. Basically , there is no profit , move along please.
