Interesting the timing , with pool and villa jobs taken martinez free to talk , would suit spurs style aswell
By:
martinez too big a risk , would be out by christmas

Too big a risk... Like perhaps AVB or RAFA... both coming back from Shocking efforts at chelsea and Inter respectively... how about Sherwood ?????

im a spurs fan and sason ticket holder and there has been a buzz about moyes ever since cappello ****ed off. there is no way avb who failed badly at chelsea will get the job lay lay lay. levy wants a man younger than redknapp and rafa isnt a bad shout cos hes a winner but his negative style will keep him from getting the job. it will only be moyes or martinez i pray its moyes. when fergie says hes the real deal as a manger u know he is more than capable of putting stars like modric in his place

jeff , i am a lifelong Everton fan ,
Spurs have got more resources than Everton , but it just isnt enough to tempt him. he desparately wants the man u job . he is wealthy already i dont think an additional 1/2 or 1 m a year will mean anything. his family is settled in the NW , he is loved here , there is no chance of him giving it all up for Tottenham. he will sit tight , ferguson will be off next year |

Would of thought the Owner would of known who was getting the gig after all everybody knew Arry was off for a while... Sherwood mentioned as Technical director somewhere, why would he want that job, when he can have the job as manager? Highly rated by Spurs...

jollie i always fancied moyes as next man u manager cos i think ferguson will have a big say in therfe next manager as i think he will never retire and will move to the boardroom if moyes stays at everton respect to him cos year on year it will be a fight as there skint but i love to see him at spurs as for me he is a winner and if u give him control and money to buy who he wants i think u cant go wrong

I don't think Daveyboy will be safe with loads to spend, tbph..
By:
moyes will be safe hes been on jobseekers allowance for a decade he deserves to splash some cash down south
By:
You miss my point. When he's had cash to spend he hasn't been brilliant. His brilliance comes from his wheeler dealing..

And btw jeff222, there is zero chance of him going to Spuds..

Moyes will never get a top job because of his negative tactics..
OK at Everton because when 80% of your fans are on the dole or are assisted by the government then expectation levels are not high. And he has had money to spend although not in the superstar bracket...... |
