Of the shorties, Whimsical will be getting the dreaded nap
 I was going to go with Living Desert in the first at Yarmouth. He's rated 3lb superior to the fav, and imo he's crying out for a step up in trip. His dam, a 12f Listed winner, is by stamina influence Act One, and I think 6f has been on the short side, for all he's run with credit at the trip. The problem is, if there's no pace on today, he'll still be vulnerable to a speedier type; and I can see why they're smashing into the fav on the back of the York run, cos that Hannon winner looks a useful tool. |
