Solway Dornal - 19:45 Cartmel

Does anyone have any thoughts on this favourite currently 2.68.  While taking into account this is a poor race and the horse is racing off a lower mark than it's recent hurdle win - I think there are two good reasons for opposing it at these short odds.  First - he only ran three days ago and that was it's first start in approx 9 months (will he re-produce that level today).  Second - the distance - the horses best form is at a distances shorter that today's 3m 2F.  I know he finished second over 3m 3F at Sedgefield last year but that was a slowly run race and he was beaten 20l.   Anyone else have a view on this.
