People who refuse to pay the £20 for RUK could have 10 x £5 bets with ViktaC for a £20 free bet each month. You can lay the 10 bets back on here.

It seems to be a RUK problem as I've just had an email from them saying as much. RUK online is gubbed as well.

"We are aware of a temporary problem that is causing users difficulties connecting to and receiving our services.
Please be advised our internal critical escalation routes have already been activated. The relevant technical staffs are investigating and working to restore affected service to full functionality."

Any functionality would be good let alone full - call me cynical but 'internal critical escalation routes' - do me a favour - it's always US that has to tell THEM what's going on.
I think its "Perform racing" who have a monopoly for the online coverage and like all monopolies aspire to give the worst possible service while still charging the maximum.
I think HH's response to you Rollo - calling you a sniper - tells you all you need to know about your 'approach'. Leave him alone -we get on pretty well without your juvenile comments.

I hope you are right. I share Hibby's pain. He was talking about the expense of running a house the other day and probably has a chunk in the bank earning little interest.
He is the squeezed middle who has 'done the right thing' and is seeing their living standards eroded. I can understand why Live video not working might tip him over the edge, if this is his way of making a crust.

HH i understand you are principled, but like the rest of us you obviously have a passion for racing, so i don't understand why you let yourself suffer on days like this when you don't need to, i know the pundits can be a pain but they aren't a bunch of nazis are they, but you must really despise them all the same.

"1.3 Betfair Live Video is currently free of charge for all content with the exception of some horseracing. A minimum matched bet of GBP2 must be placed on the relevant ‘day of the race market’ via the exchange, or in a tote market in order to watch a particular horse race."
Ask them for your money back and if they don't give you it try Trading Standards. They are not fulfilling the service that they charged you for.
The video should be free until the problems are sorted. They are taking money for something they are not delivering.
