Anybody know if the purple site are having the same problems ?
How did they manage to turn something that was really good a few years ago into this shower of Sh!te?
for gods sake lads, stop torturing yourselves and sign up, i mean even when your ruk lv is working your still behind others sat in their living rooms!!
As a secondary point, I don't think this error was actually unexpected.
Sort it out Betfair - how many times do we have to ask?

People who refuse to pay the £20 for RUK could have 10 x £5 bets with ViktaC for a £20 free bet each month. You can lay the 10 bets back on here.
i have CLEARLY stated my reasons for not having RUK rollo.
ok it's costing me today but i have PRINCIPLES...

The company who provides the Pictures are about as useful as an ashtray on a Motorbike. Everyday now this is happening. N
Sort it out you feckless bunch - it's a fricking feed for crissakes. How about providing us with the service we pay for. ****s
Agreed, HH. Too nice a day to be stuck inside raising the old blood pressure.
Like you I'm not keen on having RUK at home, but I'm starting to weaken.

It seems to be a RUK problem as I've just had an email from them saying as much. RUK online is gubbed as well.
he is entitled to a weekend off tbf duffy...
if it wasn't for BCM2 getting involved the LV situation would be a hell of a lot worse imv...

please be aware the tech team have woken up.not bad only a couple of hours late not bad for a saturday
This is the most pathetic service - this week has been a ****ing disaster because of their incompetence. And all we get is that patronising service announcement.
Sort it out Betfair.

Hibby,
Betfair Video having problems is not a life ending matter IMO.

Ask the video persons to talk to the people who are getting great pictures from Mars
either is missing the number 62 bus rollo...but people still moan about it.
HH, I think ATR have downed tools as well out of sympathy so as to not feel left out.
Hibby,
Have you checked your matches on eharmony? A wealthy widow perhaps?

i'm leaving this thread for the time being.
the snipers have appeared and i'm getting a headache now...

Curragh spinning logo and no video before the race had finished.
Why do you have to be like that Rollo - it's not funny and completely unnecessary.
bilbo,
Hibby seemed to be talking about topping himself. I was merely trying to suggest an alternative.

Just got this email reply from RUK online, sounds familiar:
"We are aware of a temporary problem that is causing users difficulties connecting to and receiving our services.
Please be advised our internal critical escalation routes have already been activated. The relevant technical staffs are investigating and working to restore affected service to full functionality."

duffy,
When a refined Scottish gentleman is teetering on the edge you have to think quickly and try what you can. Obviously bilbo didn't like my approach and was just prepared to sit there and watch Hibby jump.

Any functionality would be good let alone full - call me cynical but 'internal critical escalation routes' - do me a favour - it's always US that has to tell THEM what's going on.
I think its "Perform racing" who have a monopoly for the online coverage and like all monopolies aspire to give the worst possible service while still charging the maximum.
I think HH's response to you Rollo - calling you a sniper - tells you all you need to know about your 'approach'. Leave him alone -we get on pretty well without your juvenile comments.
Rollo has never liked me bilbo..
you look over the years...he pops on every so often to 'have a pop'...
some people are like that in life....
it's a free world imv...he's entitled to his opinion....

watchit,
I hope you are right. I share Hibby's pain. He was talking about the expense of running a house the other day and probably has a chunk in the bank earning little interest.
He is the squeezed middle who has 'done the right thing' and is seeing their living standards eroded. I can understand why Live video not working might tip him over the edge, if this is his way of making a crust.

It's just unpleasant Hibby - I bet he wouldn't have the courage to say those things to somebody's face and imo if you haven't you shouldn't be saying them on the internet to anybody.
Hibby,
I made my 17:24 post before I saw yours.
I have NOT 'had a pop'. You sounded depressed IMO. Incidentally the 10 x £5 bets was NOT directed at you. For some reason you assumed it was and started talking to me first.

can someone try and load atr website up? will not load at my end
HH i understand you are principled, but like the rest of us you obviously have a passion for racing, so i don't understand why you let yourself suffer on days like this when you don't need to, i know the pundits can be a pain but they aren't a bunch of nazis are they, but you must really despise them all the same.
i've lost my passion for racing tbh duffy.
it's all about £ now for me i'm afraid.
too much GREED in racing has left me disillusioned tbh...

kev,
Their terms state
"1.3 Betfair Live Video is currently free of charge for all content with the exception of some horseracing. A minimum matched bet of GBP2 must be placed on the relevant ‘day of the race market’ via the exchange, or in a tote market in order to watch a particular horse race."
Ask them for your money back and if they don't give you it try Trading Standards. They are not fulfilling the service that they charged you for.
The video should be free until the problems are sorted. They are taking money for something they are not delivering.
