Foetus - although I never met him, I think Limerick Mick was quite a big unit. Looked a bit like Jim Broadbent (Roy Slater in Only Fools and Horses). He was a self-proclaimed 'forum good guy' although in three or four years of baiting him on here I never saw that side of him; he was always a complete **** imo.

hi billy yeah more or less i had a few fun type bets on the footy and horses along the way but instead of doing my money on the flat season saved up a good amount and gave the bulk of it to the missus to hold for me till the jumps and had smallish bets now and then on the jumps and some ante post bets for the festival,bythe time the festival came round i had a good whack to play with and did quite well . probably do something similer this time .

The posting privileges of certain forumites mentioned earlier on this thread appear to have been suspended due to fears that they may disclose sensitive information regarding certain operational procedures currently being carried out by various government departments and military bodies . The legal representatives of these aformentioned forumites are currently in discussions with a number of media outlets regarding the publishing of the specific details of these potentially illegal activities but until they receive guarantees of anonimity and immunity from prosecution they will sadly remain ex-contributors to an otherwise excellent forum .

Yeah must surely be the same one. Maybe just got fed up with threads being spoilt or the general all round waining of enthusiasm that once existed here - was definitely a net contributor to the Forum though.

tbh so many left the forum the title of the thread should read posters who are still on here, the list would be a lot easier to manage.

I remember when Delta stopped posting (before Covid I would say) somebody said that Delta has got bored with the Forum and Racing ... which surprised me as - Delta was a lively poster and jnowledgeable about Horse Racing.
I was amazed that Delta never even popped back on here, from time to time.
Must have retired to a Holiday Home in Jaywick.
