What topic with regard to racing would you like TV interviewers or newpaper reporters to look into with more rigour and regularity ?

1.The loading order. It seems to me that favs are given preferential treatment,especially when a top jock on board.
Always one of the last to load.
2.Allowing horses to wear blindfolds,which are then removed after the stalls open.Seems to me they are technically racing wearing blindfolds!Not to mention the nightmare scenario of a blindfolded horse throwing the rider as the gates open and bolting.
3.The use of pacemakers.Never could understand why they are allowed.A certain Irish operation is well known to employ team tactics in this way.
4.The lack of Sunday flat racing. Tomorrow another blank Sunday.Only racing country in the World where this happens. Plenty of racing on Mondays and Tuesdays. Where's the sense in that?

roggrain............I nearly backed RYAN last week.....for thst reason........."out the back" whilst the sad stalls incident went on 
My suggestion would be the refusal of bets from punters who fail to lose to bookmakers, is this ethical and does it damage racing
The way the SP is returned - the process of how it is decided which on course books are in the "sample", and how the off course firms seem to know which on course books are included in it, which is surely against the whole principle of SP "integrity", which is fundamental to the sport.

How does the BHA justify the amount of money spent on "integrity" in relation to the results obtained so far.
The media are not willing to look into anything for fear of gravy being spilt - END OF THREAD.
The abysmal quality of many presenters on ATR who are employed simply because they can drivel and 'errrr' to fill air time rather be able to make intelligent and informative comment on horses.
The increasing tendency to cram quality races and race meetings into Saturdays, so that there is often no longer time to do justice (either in presentation, or form study) to those quality races and meetings.
As Aviboyd says, the attitude of the racing and betting media towards the people they are supposed to serve is entirely exploitative - their role is now only to deliberately collaborate in perpetuating industry lies...
The continuing use of Highflyer to cover C4 racing, with priority given to team mateyness rather than horse racing.
Camera angles - the obsession with close-ups of horses during a race, particularly in the final furlong, but more generally also.
Have to agree there ged. Being without doubt the worst television producer working today, Andrew Franklin has done more harm to the public image of racing than any other individual in the last two decades imo...

I think in this country now the courses decide when they want to put meetings on...courses want to maximise profits thru alcohol sales and sunday just isnt the day for boozing, more a family day (not so much money in selling ice creams- people tend to only have one ice cream but several beers)

There should be a serious investigation into who are the viewers who tune into racing programmes for fashion tips and advice.These people should be disenfranchised and forced to eat the detritus from Trinny and Susannah's undercrackers in perpetuity.

Why is Diesel Fuel around 15p more than unleaded? On a recent visit to Spain and Portugal it was only 3-5 cents/litre more.
Would you trust dishonest people to do anything? They spend their days being dishonest because it's all about hanging to their many jobs.
All the things that should need looking at should already have been exposed. That tells you everything you need to know. It's no good appealing to these people.
