A Private Equity firm owns the declining rag and based in Dublin because I guess that the tax is less.The real owners have yet to pop their heads up but it has been alleged that there may be some Bookmaker involvement.It is only a guess but with the standard of tipping involving Football I could not disagree.There is a tipster that allegedly makes a profit on the horses but the prices are mythical and have been taken by those in the know who it is said "arb".There is also a person who thinks that if he can win £30k he is set up for life and can win serious money backing full-time.He tips 5 or 6 golfers in each tournament and reckons that he would have made money by backing them in "cross doubles".
Now I have been in the game for years and have always struggled to wonder what a "cross double" is... However if you want to back five golfers in each of two tournaments that will be 25 doubles and 50 each-way.. Try getting top price on that..... |

Sometime soon there will be an investigation into the Rancid Organ and it will conclude that it is only operating to take money out of the pockets of its readers and pass it on to what are loosely termed "Bookmakers". The Sports Betting section is a joke.You have alleged tipsters that are not allowed to shout arb..Even though they have to mention firms that are so hopeless you are banned if you make a profit.It is all about advertising and try complaining about that !! Any headway yet? Btw, I'm nothing to do with the RP. All I am is a humble punter. I do buy it when I go racing, however. I like to see the colours. Also, just to clarify: I've no idea who any of the characters on this thread actually are. I just assumed they were fiction writers who get paid by btfr in an attempt to make the forum interesting. Therefore, there's no way I could possibly hate any of the writers. Actually, judging from his posts, this Gleann Toby mush comes across as a very successful and intelligent guy. Far better than myself, I'd guess, and probably wasting his talents writing on here, imo. The only one of the Unit that I couldn't take to was that Arse-cough-boy who, without provocation, was hostile and nasty to travellers and their families in his posts. Anyway, I've just heard that there was no apology on this morning's show, so I suppose we'll just have to wait and see what comes of the police action. |
