ok here goes. you have a lucky 15 with a bookie that pays 3x odds for 1 winner lets say 5 total 75.and lets say all selections are 6 to 1.you borrow 5 off legs 2 3 and 4 and bet 15 on the 1st horse horse.at the same timeyou lay the 1st horse for 40= 5 for the 1st eight legs.if it wins you win 90.you wil alsobe 60 in credit from the x3 which you use to back in doubles and trebles in leg2 3 and 4.if the1st horse loses you have got your 40 back from the 1st 8 legs.in steps 2 3 and 4 you can get the money back that you borrowed because you still have x1 left of the x3.i told you it was complicated.thoughts please

what do u mean to lay it then for the first 8 legs? this needs to be in simpler form.

you would have to lay 1,2  1,3  1,4 123,124,134 and 1234

if your laying the first horse in 8 legs and u want to win a 5er each time you would lay it for £240 (8 x £5 profit at 6/1) and your still backing it for £15? seems a bit silly to me

and if it wins your losing your £240 lay and getting a treble the odds 18/1 for your £5 L15 plus a £15 win at 6/1

so if the first horse wins and all the rest lose you have staked £330 (75 L15, 15 win horse 1, 240 lay horse 1) and got back £200 (£5 18/1, and £15 6/1)

you have to carry on laying erogenous for eg legs 1 and 2 you lay 30 at 6 to 1 you would lose 180 on here but you would have 180 to come back at the bookies.but if the 1st horse had won you would have 60 quid to play with for the 3x odds for 1 winner and you would have used this for a patent in legs 2 3 and 4
