dave1357,unmatched bets already in the system are matched at the submitted price and not 1000. One of the major benefits of being a track thief laying fallers is that they get to scoop up all the short priced unmatched back bets when a hot favourite falls towards the end of the race.
Betfair of course get their 40-60% cut in premium tax which is why they don't really want a level playing field as long as the mugs continue to play. |

Though not really of direct relevance to this thread, i was at Wolverhampton last week and noticed that "arbers" were conspicuous by their absence, for some reason.
I'm talking about the ones who used to be in the box next to the Press room. Not a one to be seen. There again, there seemed to be nobody in any of the boxes, so not sure why things were not as per usual there. ![]() I was hoping that the IR players had fd off,but it was probably just a one off. |
