Cutter bore an uncanny resemblance to a Sean O'Reilly character in "The Swing Of Things", named Fada.

cutter wasn`t a creation imo. He was an autodidact as his Latin was medieval rather than classical. After he got banned he made about 10 attempts to come back but was al;ways too distinctive.
