Do your form figs/ratings if 1/2 well clear on your figs yet not in the first 2 in the betting usually worthy of a lay e.
g. yesterdays first race at Newbury I had Captain Dunne/Medicean Man both well clear both drifted in the market last/second last or as near as dammit.good luck for to-day. |

If this worked in general (and not saying either way whether it does or doesn't) then surely you could even save yourself doing anything by just finding a rubbish tipster, be it from a newspaper or otherwise and just lay all of their tips.

It would work for many people as the number of favourites that get beaten proves. In the 3 afternoon cards yesterday, 13 favs started at 3/1 or lower and 2 won at 10/11 and 2/1.
