Ive decided to blog my profit and loss now and will primarily use bad each way system. the Horse name is on the blog - http://www.freesportstrading.com/freesportstrading-blog.html
A bad each way race is where there is an odds on favourite and the other horses in the race (usually 2nd or 3rd Favourite) would still be profitable for the bunter if the horse is placed. For Example A 5 horse race where the Favourite is 4/9, the 2nd fav may be 8/1. This race would be 1st and 2nd places 1/4 the odds. This means that the 8/1 horse should be 2/1 for a place (8/4 =2/1) remember 1/4 odds. But that is not the case. It has a much better chance of 2/1 of being placed it is just because it it 1/4 of the win price 8/1. On betfair the place only price is likely to be 1/2 or there abouts. That means you are getting 75% better price on the place part. If you were then to lay (Back Against) the win part on betfair you could guarantee profit for example: Horse A Wins @8/1-£1,000 on Betting Website, Minus Liability - 8/1 - £800 +Place Liability -1/2 - £100 Liabilities on betfair Profit =£100
Horse A is Placed- @2/1 £100 on Betting Website +£100 Not Won on betfair @8/1, Minus @1/2 £100 on betfair for placed Profit=£100
Horse A is Unplaced @8/1£95 Not Won,@1/2 £200 Unplaced Betfair Minus £200 Original Stake on Betting Site Profit =£95
There was 6 runners.. the race was 5:30 Bath. The SP of J2f was 9.5 i believe. I laid £95 at an average of 9.4 but even if it did win the profit from the place only part would have covered any losses from the win part. £95 profit for today and this day one of the blog so keep tuned for more profitable advice ;-)

Can you post which bookies you are using? I tried this system once - and the bookies QUICKLY didn't like me.
Maybe get some half-asleep cashier instead.

Yesterday I used Bet365 but will vary where i put the bets on. Of course you would always like to use cash in a betting shop but not to the detriment of the price of the horse. To be fair I know a lot about the Permission To Lay Limits within the UK industry and would say that a liability of under £1,000 on the win part only wont raise too many eyebrows but proceed with caution. Your bet is a legal contract anyway so an account could be closed but no winnings could be held.
I will be posting todays Bad Each Way Race and selection later
Chris
