bbc footage cut off after the winner crossed line on replay, didnt show the places,which were close so they usually would. i think medermit was definitely 3rd.

Horse between then so hard to see, I thought Hunt ball just on though on live viewing
interesting theres been no reply and all the talk, including an interview just now has been with anthony knott
thoght medermit was up myself but happy enough cos i backed hunt ball.....

from the overhead shot you can see he makes a momentum stopping mistake at the second last, cost him at least a place

Yep...deffo looked like Medermit was third from where I was sitting.
any sites with the distance between 3rd and 4th as site i look on just does distance between 1st and 2nd, and 2nd and 3rd?

Just looked at it in slow motion a few times. Burton Port gets in the way, making it impossible to judge. My first impression was that Medermit got up for third, but after looking closely at it, it's really difficult to tell for sure.

doubt it, thats why im annoyed that it seems like they went with the horse that all the talk was about and ims surprised trainer of medermit has not queried it, maybe hes seen a photo
I rewound it because I couldnt believe it when they called Hunt Ball 3rd ahead of Medermit.
On second viewing it was difficult to tell because there is a horse in the way and you can only see Medermit and not Hunt Ball.
After having viewed it several times it is difficult to be sure, but it is definitely possible that Hunt Ball won 3rd on the nod.

I thought Medermit got up for 3rd as well.
Funny enough just looked at the comments in running on the racing post app for Medermit.
