Both horses trained by Richard Guest and not John Balding as per racecard and RP. We've laid plenty for the double @stanjames 5m Rory Jiwani @roryjiwani Reply Retweet Favorite · Open Here's the planned Willie McKay coup at Lingfield. 3.00 Catalyze 6/1 into EVS; 5.00 Befortyfour 11/2 into 11/8 @stanjames |

Ooooooooh mystery, er not really two at Kempers were never gonna run imo and the owners now got the other two in doubles, hardly a mystery.

By:
Yankees slip under the radar, a double would not, hardly rocket science

Exactly, again shows what a joke the self cert system is, not eaten up and bruised foot my arse.

feel sorry for those who have backed haamaat or ducal this morning, now subject to a non-realistic rule 4. sure majuro will win soon when strong in the market, but i'd imagine it'll be against more exposed opposition than the above pair

2:21pm Gamble update Willie McKay was at the Crystal Palace Doncaster game in London last night and has come on to Lingfield to watch his horses, which are at the centre of an on-going gamble and trainer switch! Both Catalyze, around 6-4 from 6-1this morning, and Befortyfour, similarly backed, are back with Richard Guest at his Bawtry yard after being in the hands of John Balding for the previous couple of weeks. |

CATALYZE landed the first part of a big gamble on horses trained by Richard Guest and owned by football agent Willie McKay at Lingfield on Wednesday, after four horses running for the owner were subjected to big plunges.
Along with Catalyze and Befortyfour at Lingfield in the afternoon, Alpha Tauri and Majuro were also heavily gambled for Kempton's evening meeting, but were subsequently declared non-runners on self-certificates. Willie McKay - Chester - 7/5/08 Before their withdrawals, Alpha Tauri had been backed into 11-4 (from 11-2) and Majuro to 3-1 (from 25). However, Catalyze, who had been available at 5-1 in the morning, came through to win at evens under William Carson. Befortyfour runs in the 5.00 and is a best-priced 7-4 chance (from 5-1). McKay, present at Lingfield, said: "I was at the Crystal Palace game last night - we were unlucky - and that's the only reason I've come on here. "Yes, I've backed mine in the race - I backed Jake The Snake. I claimed him last week and I got it wrong about him - they can have him back now for £1,000 less if they want now. "I've heard all about it - they're making it into amonster gamble which it isn't." ![]() |

Is that 21 days roger.?
|

By:
this guy must honestly think we are all stupid. This is a disgrace, and having backed rifflessione, the deserved winner of the race, makes it even worse.
Rifflessione, taken on for the lead by the claimed horse that has never front run its entire life, then only just beaten by the monster gamble from a jockey who subsequently gets a whip ban |
|
By:
A long time ago I wrote to the BHA suggesting that when betting patterns indicated something very obvious was going down they just withdraw the horse and compensate the owner for the expenses. Needless to say they weren't interested in crime prevention.

Willie Mackay (Catalyze) and Micky Quinn (Waterloo Dock)...football pals...a meeting of the minds there in the 3.00 Lingfield.....

The BHA are vermin,Feck.
A corrupt, mercenary organisation, with the biggest toerag of all at the helm. |

I have NEVER got a positive reply on ANYTHING from the BHA over the years. Must have sent them 20 e-mails on various topics.
