they have to start looking into this...limited, inexpoerienced people fiddle around with money and fortune...mistkes can happen but nobody on the trainer/owner/BHA end cares about...that boy gets 28 days and laughs it off...he should - mistkaes can happen, i say again - get 2 years...and a riding course (like when people dirve a car drunken or careless). bad really...really bad....

Yes, 'mistakes' like this just do not happen, fcuk him off for life then we won't see this happen quite so often.

By:

When: 23 Mar 12 18:23
well..it is not about us losing today (tomorrow we benfit form another total incompetancy)...the issue is that the bans are ridiculous...that George cries 10 minutes...rides out tomorrow..gets 28 days on Tuesday and back on mamas horse soon. i don't mind the boy...I mind that the penatlies are a joke...if you make such a mistkae 9i.e. as a ref...not sure what mistyake that could possibly be...maybe not even turn up for a PL match lol) they get a break of a few month the least....if not longer.....

If you think that was bent you have a life span at this game of exactly 6 months.

It was a horrible, horrendous mistake that the lad made, pure and simple.

a life ban is obviously out of the question...it was a mistake....no intention...so a heavy ban...(for professionals it should be treble the time or 5 times even, btw.)...and then he goes pon a traning course....(20 hours ) and after 2 years or a year he comes back....no problem...28 days are comedy...

Strange how he misses out the last fence, what an amazing co-incidence.

shouldnt have happened but dont kill the lad for doing it

infact he got after the horse really well when the horse was getting left behind

I've been watching racing for 30 years mush, please explain how he finds his way to every other fence on the course and somehow decides to miss out the last fence, sorry but we are not children, don't be so facking wet.

he tried everything, but that isn't enough....if I am his mama's milk man and I bring the bottle only without the milk....have a guess what she would say: she would never buy form me again.....ever...he'll learn...(but as i have said: tomorrow we r on a second and another young man, not bothering about walking the course or taking care or gettign overexcited, is messing up and we win).

The issue is the penalties and not the guys who make mistakes...it is a bit the lack of care as well..it is the wrong attitude and carelessness....(hardly anybody of them does it on purpose...that boy surely was the proudest man in the country for 2 minutes).....they need a proper break....not 14 or 28 days.....it is a joke IMO

Total c0ck up but I worry about some youngsters today with their attention span and ability to retain information.

He's only about 16-17 years old they said and after jumping the last you do have to go to the right so as not to go around again and jump the water jump like on the earlier circuit, so he's obviously got it in his mind to go right after the last and bypass, but unfortunately for him and everyone he has cost money, he went right after the second last and bypassed the last itself.

I bet SWC is relieved twofold though that some of the attention was taken away from him, in that he's not the only one who can make a b@lls up, plus his own racs came to an ended after a bad jump that he would have got the blame for but for the distraction elsewhere. Grin

That was unforgiveable. Such a stupid mistake . As a jockey the first thing you learn is the track. There is a diagramme for the purpose in each weighing and jockey's room. He did not do his job properly end of. Deserves a mega punishment for that. I have no sympathy whatsoever attention to detail was not one of his priorities obviously

When I mentioned to the rider after the race that he should have noticed the last fence, his mother told me to f off and he told me that I should ride the horse and that it was his not his fault, people should not bet.
I suggest he sticks to gymkanas and not play at being a jockey.
