I can't be bothered to do a full preview this year, as I have returned from a lovely day's golf, and need to enjoy butter chicken and vegetable rice prior to viewing Gossip Girl and One Tree Hill. I am showing my support for Burton Port, age 21.
Report age 21 March 12, 2012 7:26 PM GMT
will you be quaffing champers and salmon?
Report davix March 12, 2012 7:30 PM GMT
Possibly some salmon, perhaps in a terrine, but I rarely drink alcohol in the day. An orange squash is much more likely.
Report Hibore March 12, 2012 7:33 PM GMT
When did you get 16/1 on Burton Port.

I don't have the horse ever being that price ?

20 bt365
12 sky
16 tote
25 boys
14 betfred
33 sporting
25 VC
14 Bsq
33 paddy
25 james
25 laddies
20 coral
25 billies

they were the prices on that day.
Report Hibore March 12, 2012 8:00 PM GMT
Really ??

Should have taken the 12/1 then instead of the 33/1 paddy or 38/1 betfair on here before the Aon. It was top priced 12/1 after that.
Report lineuk March 12, 2012 8:09 PM GMT
look on oddschecker and then click on horse, it will bring up all the prices
Report Hibore March 12, 2012 8:18 PM GMT
Fair enough. Must have backed before the Aon at half the odds available everywhere else.

We had a Thread about the horse on that day searching for the best prices before and after the race as we fancied it to run a big race.

I must have ignored totes 16/1 as it was double that everywhere else.

Just like to say well done to Nicky Henderson and Barry Geraghty for outstanding training/riding performances and to Patrick and Willie Mullins for their fantastic handling of Champagne Fever. Today was a day I shall not forget in a hurry.
